Geographer:
As the geographer your main goal is to make sure the class knows about the important landforms found in your region. How did these landforms affect the settlement in that region? How did the physical environment determine how people met specific needs like food and shelter? This will include the climate of your region and natural resources found in the region. Include information about the impact that people have had on the land in your region. Record your information on the graphic organizer provided.
o What is the climate and typical weather in your region? How does it affect what grows in the region? (i.e. seasonal changes, warm, cold, etc.)
o What are some of the major landforms in your region? (i.e. mountains, flatland, coastline, rivers, etc.)
o What natural resources can be attributed to this region, and what uses makes these resources beneficial? (i.e. water, trees, oil or gas, etc.)
